Alternative: Papa Murphy's Veggie Pizza

So I went into Papa Murphy's Take & Bake the other day and ordered a cheeseless ($2 off!) olive, green pepper and onion pizza.  Once home, I added 1/3 package of Daiya mozzarella shreds and baked it according to instruction, but turned off the oven two minutes early and then broiled it instead.  I really, really wanted the "cheese" to brown, but became concerned about the edges of the crust getting too crispy/black!  Next time, I will try cooking it for half the recommended time and broiling it for the other half, while carefully rotating and watching it so that it doesn't burn to a crisp (that's another story there)!

1: Add raw Daiya to pizza
2: Bake/broil

3: Enjoy!  Great for leftovers too!

Alternative: Herb & Chive Dip

Just a little snack for those who miss creamy dips with their chips!

Alternative: Chicken Strips & Fries

Just a quick kid-friendly alternative!  For a healthier option, opt for carrots and hummus... I like some nice baked fries every once in awhile though.  ;)

Alternative: Hot Apple Cider

Not a recipe, just a fun beverage option for Autumn.  I put my own spin on it with the marshmallows, although I'm told that marshmallows and cider do not mix (...they do).  ;)

Alternative: Cinnamon Roll Ala Mode

Quick processed food treat.  Not healthy.  Not recommended for daily consumption...but it's an easy treat so go for it!

1 package Immaculate Cinnamon Rolls
1 pint Soy Dream Butter Pecan Frozen Dessert

1: Preheat oven to 350.
2: Unwrap rolls and place into a bread pan or small casserole dish.
2: Bake for 25 minutes or until rolls are browned at the edges
3: Drizzle frosting over rolls
4: Stack rolls on top of one another in tray and serve
5: I like mine with a scoop of butter pecan ice cream.  Yum!
